Rise Like Air

We conspire to inspire through the celebration of hope as we rise above challenges, no matter what they are. "But still, like air, I'll rise." Maya Angelou

Rise Like Air takes it’s inspiration from the poem by Maya Angelou Still I Rise.

An excerpt from Still I Rise by Maya Angelou

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.

All of us have times in our lives where the glass seems half empty, maybe almost drained dry.  It’s times like these that we need  a path through the feelings that engulf us. They maybe feelings of anger, helplessness, hopelessness, self loathing, guilt, despair or frustration.

Rise Like Air is here to offer resources, stories, anecdotes, compassion, kindness and caring to help each of us to find the path when we need it most.  Whether your life has been turned up side down by bullying, illness, financial uncertainty, or whatever the cause,  things do get better, there is help, there is hope.  Remember that even when things appear to be at their worst, hope, beauty, love, kindness, compassion and empathy still exist.  Rise Like Air is here to help you look beyond, and to rise again, just like air.
